Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Baking Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 16 servings
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup sliced almonds
1 T. Cinnamon
1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
1/3 cup pure maple syrup, raw honey, or agave syrup
optional spices include ground cloves, nutmeg, and cardamom
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 and line pan with parchment paper.
Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Melt coconut oil and whisk in honey/maple syrup.
Pour wet ingredients over too dry ingredients and stir until fully wet.
Pour granola into even layer on parchment paper.
Bake for 20-30 minutes UNDISTURBED until edges are crisp. . The granola gets crunchier as it cools down.
Once fully cooled, break it up into pieces to your liking. Save in an airtight container for up to a month.
